Surprise inspections in Durban target non-compliant processed meat manufacturers

The National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications (NRCS), in collaboration with South African Police Service (SAPS) and the National Consumer Commission (NCC), has launched surprise raids on Durban businesses to enforce compliance with food safety regulations.
