Who Is Shri Hit Premanand Govind Sharan Ji Maharaj?

Birth and Early Life
Born Aniruddha Kumar Pandey on 30 March 1969 in Akhri Village, Sarsol Block, Kanpur district, Uttar Pradesh . Raised in a deeply devotional Brahmin family, he began chanting mantras and pondering life’s deeper meaning from childhood .

Renunciation and Spiritual Quest
At age 13, he left home to lead a life of spiritual renunciation, receiving the name Anandswaroop Brahmachari, and later becoming known as Swami Anandashram . He spent years living simply on the banks of the Ganges in Varanasi, meditating, fasting, surviving on alms, and remaining steadfast in devotion .

Journey to Vrindavan and Spiritual Initiation
After a profound experience attending Raas Leela in Varanasi, he was drawn to Vrindavan. There, he was initiated into the Radha Vallabh Sampradaya through the Sharanagati Mantra, and later received the Nij Mantra from Shri Hit Gaurangi Sharan Ji Maharaj (also known as Bade Guruji), ushering him into the realm of Rasik Saints with the practices of Sahachari Bhava and Nitya Vihar Rasa .

Philosophy and Teachings
Maharaj Ji emphasizes the supreme goal of attaining Shri PriyaPriyatam, divine love embodied in Radha–Krishna, through surrender, devotion, and residence in or meditation on Vrindavan Dham—the heart of spiritual bliss . His satsangs address worldly challenges like anger, greed, and lust while guiding the heart toward divine pastimes and the ultimate spiritual connection . He also articulates that spirituality today is evolving toward being more inclusive, personal, and aligned with inner experience, moving away from rigid dogma .

Service and Outreach
In 2016, he founded the Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj Trust in Vrindavan, offering lodging, food, clothing, and medical assistance to pilgrims and needy devotees .

Health Journey
Maharaj Ji has been living with polycystic kidney disease for many years, undergoing regular dialysis while continuing his spiritual work with strength and grace. .

Teaching Platforms
He regularly conducts Ekantik Vartalaap, intimate daily spiritual dialogues for aspirants to ask questions and receive guidance. His discourses (pravachans), devotional music, and satsangs are widely shared online, making his teachings accessible globally .
