Hong Kong to unleash mosquito-killing robot dogs to combat Chikungunya virus

Hong Kong plans to deploy robot dogs equipped with insecticide sprayers to combat rising cases of mosquito-borne Chikungunya fever.

The robots will target hard-to-reach areas, reducing the workload on frontline workers.

A trial will begin next month, with the potential for wider deployment if successful, Interesting Engineering has reported.
