As we march on toward the day of the Lord’s return, the life of the true follower of Christ will experience the forward progress through the refinement found within tailor-made trials. Those are also meant to help us become mature. Anyone who has been on the journey, has experienced this in measure. Those in Christ will continue to be tested in their standing and the faithful will be proven. Chiefly, the Lord is inviting us into the season of fellowship that cannot be disassociated from His suffering. Can a depth of loving trust relationship between His people and the Lord Jesus Christ be built any other way?
