Reaction to Miraculous Ladybug Creator Thomas Astruc's take last week on child neglect differing from child abuse in defending his direction for the polarizing side character Chloé Bourgeois, and his unwillingness to change the character despite her popularity amongst fans and calls for him to do so ramp up in the fallout of the posts in question. It has seemly made the Chloe character become an example of a sympathetic strawman, similar to what many believe John Walker of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has become.
