Health Update 8/18/25 - Cold/Fever Actually Helped Underlying Conditions?

I have recovered from what felt like a bad cold. It was the first time I had been "sick" in over a year (aside from my underlying symptoms). I had a mild fever, and now that my cold is gone it feels like my underlying symptoms have improved as well. I have a hypothesis that the fevers you catch when sick help to burn out the EBV/Long Covid/Post Vaccine, as each time I have had a fever since recovering from post vaccine/long covid I have felt slightly better.

Also, usually when i catch a cold/flu/virus I mostly feel the effects of that and not also feel my underlying symptoms, however, this time I felt both. So perhaps this was a bit of a detox as well. I ate a very alkaline diet while sick which I think helped to speed my recovery.

So it feels like I am back on the right track again!
