Patel is demanding investigations into how Authentic Campaigns capitalized on the publicity of the trial to boost fundraising for anti-Trump clients.

Critics view this as a blatant conflict of interest, where a judge's family profits generously from persecuting political opponents.

Patel is demanding documents and info on clients like Adam Schiff who raised $93 million off Trump's conviction.

Loren Merchan is the President of Authentic Campaigns, the progressive digital marketing firm, specializing in fundraising for Democrats.

Clients include Kamala Harris, Adam Schiff, and the Senate Majority PAC; the firm has earned millions, with Schiff alone paying nearly $5 million to the company in 2024.

Allegations persist that trial leaks and publicity, boosted client donations by tens of millions post-conviction, benefiting the Merchan family.
