Remember you can choose your weight. You also can choose how you do a weighted glute bridge. If you have a bar available to you, make sure you put a pad, a yoga mat, or a thick towel at your hips. This can be very hard on your hips bones and you pubis symphysis. If you have bumper plates you have an option to use lighter weights and still be able to roll it over your thighs to place this on your hips. If not, choose a weight that you can safely pick up in an awkward position or have someone assist you.
