Biography
Duane Edwards is a Chicago-based filmmaker and creative force whose career spans acting, writing, producing, and directing. After funding and producing a series of acclaimed shorts under the “Chicago Stories” banner, including The Confession, Hit and Run, and Contest Winner, Duane earned national attention as a top-three finalist on HBO’s Project Green Light, produced by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. His work has screened at domestic and international festivals, and his feature debut Wrong Numbers is a triumph of streamlined storytelling, shot in just one week and earning critical acclaim across major platforms. Duane is currently represented by United Talent Agency as a director/producer and is prepping his next feature, Laura Louise, set to film in Chicago and starring Corbin Bernsen
