Nathaniel Pawlowski – European Parliament Speech

Thank you for having me. My name is Nathaniel Pawlowski from Canada. I’m here to speak about the consequences of abuse of power under the guise of health—set out by the WHO framework—that local governments then implement.

I am the son of Pastor Artur Pawlowski, who you will hear from in just a moment. I am here today in desperation—a cry for help.

I wish I could stand here and tell you about freedom and democracy in my country. But I can’t, because those things no longer exist for us. They have been taken away.

Canada has fallen.
We no longer have freedom of religion.
We no longer have freedom of speech.
We no longer have the right to protest, assemble, associate, or even express ourselves.
We no longer have a free media.
We no longer have the right to disagree with the government.

Anyone who dares do so is arrested, charged, and jailed as a political dissident.

My father was just found guilty of inciting mischief for giving a Christian sermon to the truckers when they stood for our rights in 2022. In that sermon, he referenced the Solidarity Movement—a peaceful movement that helped bring down communism in Europe.

For this, my father faces up to 10 years in prison.

This case sets a dangerous precedent not only for Canadians but for the world. If you allow this to happen, it means no politician, no journalist, no citizen has the freedom to express what is on their heart without fear of being accused of “mischief” and thrown in prison.

I myself have been charged for preaching and reading the Bible publicly—because the Canadian government claims the Bible is not inclusive and is hateful.

This is what the Canadian government is doing. And I believe in naming names. The crown prosecutor in my father’s case is Steven Johnston and the judge is Gordon Kriek. They claim that referencing the Solidarity Movement in a 19-minute sermon is an act of mischief against the government.

Think about that.
The same Solidarity Movement this very Parliament reveres, with its imagery displayed on placards across this building. The peaceful movement that tore down the Iron Curtain and ended communist rule in Europe. The Canadian government calls it unacceptable.

So I ask the free world: intercede on Canada’s behalf.
Put pressure on Canada to stop persecuting law-abiding Canadians—especially clergy—who have done nothing but give hope.

My father told the truckers to stand for their rights, Solidarity-style, and to do so peacefully. For that, he now faces sentencing on August 9, 2023. If he is imprisoned, then truly we are all lost as Canadians. If a pastor can be jailed for giving a sermon, what hope is left for the rest of us?

Canada is no better than the tyrants of old. Trudeau is a modern-day Caligula. We cannot allow these mad emperors to strip our rights under the false banner of health and safety. The WHO framework has become the structure by which tyranny is implemented.

Please—do not allow Canada to continue persecuting its citizens and clergy this way.

You will now hear from my father, Pastor Artur Pawlowski, by video message.

Pastor Artur Pawlowski – Statement

I am Artur Pawlowski, born behind the Iron Curtain in Poland, crushed by the iron fist of oppression. I grew up under martial law, when citizens lived in fear, when voices of truth were silenced, when shelves were empty, and when soldiers ruled with executions.

I vowed: Never again.
Never again would I bow to tyranny.
Never again would I allow freedom’s voice to be muffled.

That promise guided me to Canada—a land I believed to be free.

But today, I am treated as a criminal for opening my church, for preaching, for standing against government overreach. I spent three days in jail for the “crime” of opening a church in what is supposed to be a free and democratic society.

Like a soldier, I have tasted the bitter price of freedom—facing cold prison cells and harsh judgment. Like a journalist, I have spoken truth to power. And like a volunteer, I have served my community, knowing that true freedom lies in serving others.

St. Augustine said hope has two beautiful daughters: anger and courage. Anger at the way things are, and the courage to change them.

To the honorable members of the European Parliament, I ask you:
How many nights in jail would you endure for freedom?
What would you risk to defend your people’s rights?

I have already endured much. And I tell you—if men like me are silenced, then you will be next.

It is time to say Never Again. Never again will we allow tyranny to rise, whether under communism, under health mandates, or under any banner.
