Make sure that your shoulders stay down while you do the exercise. It is NOT an upper trap dominant movement. This movement has great carryover to your real world when picking things up in this manner. It's also great to pull in middle deltoid when struggling with regular side raises. Make sure you open up the chest. There is really no rounding in this variation.
