Here on a cool November morning
Somebody’s got a rooster down the road
I wonder: what am I winding down to?
Then again, I’m happy that it ain’t so cold

The good thing is: there’s nothing going on
The bad thing is there’s nothing going on
As per usual, I’ve got a funny feeling
I’m afraid I don’t know what I want

Saw a couple giant birds hanging out with my neighbors
Then flying garbage was attacking my car
Take a bland day, and add a little flavor
I will tell you, of late, that is pretty damn hard

Got a bunch of new things… already broken
Kind of why I wanted to get something old
I go into situations with my heart wide open
Then I feel mistreated and it ends up closed
