The Boeing 747-8, known as the "flying palace," was built in 2012 specifically for the royal family of Qatar. This airplane was used for a long time by the Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and now it is in the international spotlight due to the Emir's decision to gift it to the President of the United States, Donald Trump. Apparently, the Emir got tired of the "flying palace" 😆.
