An armed cell of gunmen who were spotted operating at a cemetery in southern Gaza's Khan Younis last week were killed in a drone strike, the military says, publishing footage of the incident.

The terror operatives had been spotted at the so-called old cemetery by soldiers of the Kfir Brigade's Haruv reconnaissance unit.

The army says the gunmen "posed a threat to the troops operating nearby," and the Haruv soldiers directed the drone strike against them.

On their bodies, the IDF says it later found assault rifles, RPGs, grenades, and an explosive device.

In a separate incident in the area, the military says troops found and demolished rocket launchers.
