From Sheep to Lion: The Boldness of the Inner Man (Job 17:8–9) | Bible Study

Job speaks for every believer who has been beaten down, rejected, or cast aside by those who should have stood for truth. “The upright shall be astonied at this, and the innocent shall stir up himself against the hypocrite. The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger” (Job 17:8–9).

The church has never grown strong by comfort, but by persecution. When the innocent are wronged, God stirs His people to boldness. Just as Peter went from denial to fearless testimony, the inner man in Christ transforms from sheep to lion — from weakness to roaring strength.

This message is for anyone who has been rejected by religion, mistreated by the church, or wounded by hypocrisy. You can still rise. God gives boldness within, and the new man is made after the likeness of Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords.
