In 2002, the studio Zipper Interactive would release the SOCOM franchise upon the world. It was lauded for both innovation and containing a fun multiplayer. Unfortunately, since the Zipper's closure in 2012, there hasn't been a peep of this franchise with many speculating that it will never make a return.
