RAD: Definitely listen to first speaker, Professor Jeffrey Sachs, as he explains many of the serious global issues in historical context. He also explains how 'simple' it is to resolve many of these conflicts, if only the US would stop interfering in other nations & eliminate most of our military bases around the world. After the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991, the US said that "we are all powerful & can do anything we want." This has led to a lot of disasters.

Jeffrey reviewed the history of China for the last 2000 years & noted that they rarely invaded another country. He even pointed out some situations blamed on China that were actually started by someone else. He made a big point that "China is not going to invade the US" & that the US warmongering against China via Taiwan would end in a disaster for the US unless stopped.

All of the other participants had a lot to offer about what is happening in the world & what might be needed to arrive at peace. One thing was clear. We need to return to serious negotiations instead of constantly creating conflicts via war with the CIA, MI6, and other misguided policies. — RAD)
