What is political Islam and who are terrorists?

Western law and politics are based on arguing and fighting, which are considered to be ignorant and unscientific (barbaric) from an Islamic legal perspective (Qur'an 18:22; cp. 18:54, 4:83 & 17:36, i.a.). Contemporary Western politics are divided between “woke” and “based” ideologies. Wokeism is supposed to be a radical form of liberalism or the “far left”. However, liberalism in principle—for instance, according to John Stuart Mill’s treatise On Liberty—is the idea to “live and let live” and let the “good life” prevail among “experiments of living”. Islam has no problem with this, which is in fact the basis of the Treaty of Hudaybiya that the Qur’an calls a “manifest victory” (48:2). Historically, Islam has always peacefully prevailed in this manner. Wokeism in fact, however, is another totalitarian and volitionist movement that seeks to violently extort the wealth of others to impose its capricious regulations on them. Extreme liberalism in practice stands for the principle: “I can do whatever I want” or, as Aleister Crowley put it, “Do as thou wilt”. Equal rights, which were never a concern to its exponents and which they never achieved when in power, is more of a pretext than a real objective to them. The “far right”, on the other hand, claims to represent “traditional values”, whatever those are and if they ever had them. In practice, it is a dog whistle for white supremacy, which stands for the principle: “Kill ‘em all. Spare the blondes.” Thus, wokeism and baseness, or the far right and left, are not new philosophies to the so-called barbarians, whose social selection criteria have always been, and necessarily are, the same. As Mother Agapia Stephanopoulos put it: “Does a leopard change its spots?” The political right and left both ultimately seek to extort others’ property to impose their will on them, be it sexual perversion or white supremacy. Conversely, Islam is neither leftist nor right-wing but centrist (Qur’an 2:143), the “Straight Path” in ch. 1 of the Qur’an, like the ‘straight and narrow’ in Matthew 7:13-14, being a bridge over hell that is sharper than a hair and thinner than the edge of sword (Muslim 1:360), which represents the Golden Mean or the path of moderation (an-Nasa’i 24:440). If Islam prevails, those under its protectorate would pay a nominal jizya (a substitute for tithes to God; that is, the poor; cp. Matthew 25:31-46 & Riyad as-Salihin 6:3) to be relieved of military obligations and allowed to govern themselves, and thus suffer the consequences of their own laws, since Islam, which consists of a pledge of allegiance to Muhammad and his successors, cannot be coerced (Qur’an 2:256). To answer the question if Islamic law exhibits based or woke tendencies, we start by comparing it to the other major legal systems and the nations they represent, whose character they reflect and interests they serve. From an Islamic legal perspective, political developments reflect the development of nations, which the biblical patriarchs represent. Wokeism, for example, originated from barbarians (Gog and Magog) whereas Western (Roman) civilization originated from Rome. Whereas Barbarians, and hence their customs, are fundamentally about killing and looting, Rome is fundamentally about the Empire and Islam fundamentally protects life, property and dignity (Bukhari 78:73 in fine). As far as Rome’s development goes, there is a prophecy about the penance of Jacob’s wayward son, Edom (who is not a barbarian). However, it most likely happened in the past, since the Western Roman Empire fell to barbarians in the 5th c. and the Eastern Roman Empire was routed from the Levant (the land of Shem) in the 7th c. If it refers to a future event, as some scholars have suggested, then it means that Christendom will turn against the Antichrist rather than fall with him, like Zionists. What the prophecy signifies may thus be up to Christians, as it is true in any event. The infamous prophecy that Zionists will be hunted out of the Holy Land (Riyad as-Salihin 18:13) comes from the Bible (Ezekiel 28:2, 8) and refers to how followers of the Messiah will slay those of the Antichrist, just as Moses commanded those who did not worship the golden calf—a symbol of the red heifer, like Jesus (Hebrews 9:12-14)—to slay those who did (Exodus 32:27-29 & Qur’an 2:54). That every stone and tree will betray their identities and whereabouts means every false god whom they served (Deuteronomy 4:28) and every scheme or instrument they devised against the will of God and its people to profane the Holy Land (2 Kings 17:10) will be the cause of their demise (Esther 7:10, Isaiah 59:7, Proverbs 1:31). The innocent will take refuge under the broom tree like Elijah the Prophet (1 Kings 19:4), which could be symbolic or literal. As for the barbarians, their fate was sealed from the beginning. In the words of Shakespeare: “These violent delights have violent ends”. Indeed, if their goal is self-preservation, then Islam may be their only hope, since no one else wants to preserve them or has to. Finally, it is worth noting that Sharia is not incompatible with the US Constitution, which is based on Sharia according to H.J.Res.109 (cp., e.g., an-Nasa’i 45:38 & Sanhedrin 57a:9). Indeed, since the Constitution is founded on Sharia, US laws must technically accommodate it.
