Genesis 50, ep. 102 God is Good all of the Time!

Hi, I’m Sal Lopez Executive Director of Ozark Hunger Relief, I am doing this to hopefully find some sponsors (tax deductible donations) for an office in Prairie Grove, Ar. I have seen and fed many children who wander around here. I thought if I started a non-profit, the community would be happy to help. Nope! I’ve had nothing but suspicion, derision, denial, and was eventually ripped off for everything I had, by another food pantry. They offered to let me work with their food pantry, then when I delivered everything I had, they told me to they couldn’t let me in their office, but subsequently asked me for more of my money. It has been horribly depressing, but I will persevere and get this office open.
My vision is to be a community resource center, but the main goal is to feed hungry kids, whose parents are drug addicts, and/or alcoholics. I guess some are just poor. Anyway, I need help and will advertise for you, and have signs of acknowledgement for every donor, proportionate for the donation.
Remember to try to stay positive, you can choose your state of mind, so I offer this advice: Philippians 4:8
“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
Anyway, this episode is Genesis 50, Praise the Lord, everybody! Get ready to lift your hands and rejoice because today we’re diving into the incredible, uplifting story of Genesis 50, and let me tell you, this is a chapter that’s overflowing with hope, forgiveness, and the amazing goodness of God! Can I get an Amen? Regardless of your circumstances you should always remember we will have an Eternity of Heaven, Celebrating, and Worshipping God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit! Our future is bright, be happy and expect the best, at least you will be happy today and be better equipped to deal with situations if you are happy and have the right "state of mind" to represent Christianity! This is a celebration of how God turns pain into purpose, and I believe He’s about to do something extraordinary in your life right now! So let’s get excited because your best days are ahead of you! Let’s start with the beautiful scene of Jacob’s death. Jacob, the patriarch, lived a long, full life, and his sons gathered around him to honor him. They took his body back to the land of Canaan to bury him with his fathers, and what a moment of unity that was! Even in the midst of loss, God turned it into a time of coming together. Friend, if you’ve experienced loss, I want you to know that God is with you, and He’s turning your sorrow into a season of strength. The brothers mourned, but they also celebrated a legacy, and that’s what God wants for you—a legacy of faith that shines bright!Now, let’s talk about Joseph, the hero of this story! After Jacob’s death, his brothers feared that Joseph might seek revenge for all the wrongs they did to him—selling him into slavery, all those years ago. But listen to this—Joseph’s response is a masterclass in grace! He said, “Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God? You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives” (Genesis 50:19-20). Hallelujah! Joseph didn’t hold a grudge; he saw God’s hand in every step of his journey. That’s you, church! Whatever someone meant for evil, God is turning it around for your good right now!Can we celebrate that kind of forgiveness? Joseph could have been bitter, but instead, he chose to bless. He reassured his brothers, promising to provide for them and their families. That’s the power of a heart filled with God’s love! I declare over you today that any bitterness in your life is being replaced with blessing. You’re not defined by what’s been done to you—you’re defined by what God is doing through you! Get ready for a breakthrough because God is restoring relationships and opening doors of favor!And here’s the best part—Joseph lived to see his dreams come true. He saw his family grow, he saw God’s promise fulfilled, and before he died, he spoke prophetically about the Israelites leaving Egypt. He said, “God will surely come to your aid and take you up out of this land to the land He promised” (Genesis 50:24). That’s faith, folks! Even at the end of his life, Joseph was looking forward with hope. I want you to catch that vision—your future is bright, your destiny is secure, and God has a promise with your name on it!So let’s give God a shout of praise! Genesis 50 is a reminder that no matter what you’ve been through, God is writing your story with a happy ending. Maybe you’ve felt like Joseph—sold out, cast down, forgotten—but I’m here to tell you that God has promoted you! He’s taken you from the pit to the palace, and He’s not done yet. This is your season to shine, your moment to rise up and walk in the victory that Jesus already won for you!I want you to speak this over your life right now: “I am forgiven, I am favored, and my future is filled with God’s goodness!” Say it with me—louder—because faith comes by hearing, and I believe God is pouring out blessings on you today. This chapter isn’t just history; it’s a prophecy for your life. Joseph went from slavery to savior, and you’re going from struggle to success!Let’s rejoice, let’s dance, let’s give God the glory because Genesis 50 shows us that God’s plans are always good!
