Lord Valen Greyjoy receives permission to fly the King's Colors as he departs Sunspear. The Greyjoy fleet battles the Stepstone pirates and is aided by a rider-less Rhaegal. Ned Stark captures a Night's Watch deserter on his way to Molestown. Tyrion is shocked at the arrival of House Martell to the capital, along with his former wife. Joanna Lannister agrees to travel to Casterly Rock for her scheduled courtship just prior to the KIng's unpopular announcement.
