Hot 'n' Henry

Pipeline private range on a blazing hot August afternoon with nary a breeze. Henry H015 single shot in .44 Magnum, LR 4-16x44 glass, 10" gong @ 137 yards.

Cartridge build is Starline brass that's been annealed/sized/expanded/seated/taper crimped, Fed LPP, 31.1 grains Swiss 3F black powder, .030" Circle Fly card wad, wad and powder compressed 3/16", NOE 432-275 grooved bullet drops @ 278 grains with 1:20 tin:lead alloy, .432 diameter sized down to .427 and patched with Seth Cole 7# paper as a groove runner (PPB mikes @ .432).

Hitting the plate was consistent and easy but the grouping wasn't all that tight or consistent. Got an Accurate 296 grain slick mold on order and will use it to build some test bore riders with 35 grains of Swiss 3F.
