The cover was released on August 15, 2025, as the fourth single from their upcoming Victim 2 album, which will be released on September 19 on the Mnrk Heavy label.
Waylon Rivis explained the choice of the song as follows:
“Kurt Cobain was a huge impact on my work ...‘ Heart Shape Box ’seemed the only possible option that if this song played in the murderer’s head, and perhaps it started his internal changes.”
