Continuous Bombing & Losses in Gaza

The focus of the Israeli air strikes and artillery shelling in recent days has been the Zeitoun and Sabra neighborhoods, a little east of Gaza City.

There have been endless Israeli air strikes and artillery shelling, and continuous bombardment. People are saying the explosions do not stop. Zeitoun neighborhood is being wiped off the map.

This is the same exact scenario that took place in Rafah, in parts of Khan Younis, in Jabalia, in Beit Lahiya, in Beit Hanoon, where Israeli forces concentrate on that area.

We’re seeing houses, schools, public facilities, government buildings – everything in Zeitoun is being destroyed.

Still, there are Palestinians who are staying put. They don’t want to leave because they believe they will be targeted if they do.

Israeli forces are escalating their offensive on Gaza, with heavy bombardment targeting densely populated residential areas in both the north and south of the Strip. Recent attacks have killed at least 21 Palestinians, including women and children, and left entire neighborhoods in ruins — particularly in Zaitoun and Khan Yunis.

In parallel, aid seekers continue to be targeted near humanitarian distribution sites, prompting international outrage. The UN has described these sites as “death traps,” while humanitarian agencies warn of a complete collapse in protection and aid delivery. Civilians, including children, are being killed while simply trying to access food and basic supplies.

Gaza’s Zeitoun neighborhood is undergoing a systematic campaign of destruction and annihilation. For the past week, Israeli military operations are heavily concentrated in the area, starting from Ard Al-Barasi near the halls and extending to the vicinity of Hassan Al-Banna Mosque, Ali Mosque, and the Al-Musallaba area. Israeli bulldozers are carrying out extensive digging and leveling operations.

The forces are intensively detonating booby-trapped robots inside civilian homes, particularly around the Ali Mosque and Al-Musallaba. Warplanes bombed and destroyed dozens of homes in both Al-Sabra and Zeitoun neighborhoods, with a particular focus on high-rise buildings. Several massacres are committed by the Israeli army, resulting in dozens of martyrs, many of whom remain trapped under the rubble, unreachable for recovery.
