Many believers today are confused about the difference between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant, and some mistakenly think that walking in the New Covenant means lowering God’s standard or promoting lawlessness. This teaching brings clarity by showing that Jesus did not lower the bar but raised it to the level of the heart and then gave us the power through the Holy Spirit to walk in it. Under the Old Covenant, God’s people tried to obey in their own strength without the Spirit dwelling in them. Under the New Covenant, the Spirit writes God’s law on our hearts, guiding us daily so that righteousness becomes the natural fruit of abiding in Christ. This message will help believers understand that true holiness is not achieved by human willpower but by the life of Christ within us, freeing us from the power of sin and producing the love and obedience God desires.
