How to Change Gmail Phone Number (2025)

How to Change Your Gmail Phone Number (2025 Guide)

Open the Gmail app on your phone.

Tap your profile picture in the top right corner.

Select "Manage your Google Account."

Go to the "Personal info" tab.

Scroll down and tap "Phone number."

Tap your current verified number.

Press the delete icon (🗑️) to remove it.

Confirm by selecting "Remove number" in the pop-up.

Go back and refresh the page—your old number will be gone.

To add a new number, tap "Phone number" again.

Click "Setup" and choose "Use another number."

Enter your new phone number and tap "Next."

Google will send a verification code via SMS—enter it.

Once verified, your new number will be updated!
