Shooting Innovations R.R.S. (Recoil Reduction System)

This weeks video is featuring the, Shooting Innovations R.R.S.

The Recoil Reduction System was designed to completely replace the standard buffer and noisy buffer spring in any AR-15. The systems main purpose is to reduce felt recoil by 30%. There are two functions that happen when the system engages, the primary impulse begins to travel the brass piece rearwards and the secondary impulse begins to travel the follower rearward and the two meet and cancel each other out. Another added feature with this system is the captured spring which allows for a quieter platform as the BCG travels through the buffer tube.
RRS works with:
*PCC RRS – 9mm, 10mm, 40cal & 45cal barrels*
*AR-15 RRS – AR-15platform*

If you are installing this RRS on a PCC build you will need to know a few things. The yellow part of the RRS system once installed cannot be removed from the buffer tube/ receiver extension, it remains in the back of the tube.

Next, the P.C.C. B.C.G. body weight needs to be removed for the RRS system to work. You need to locate the large roll-pin hole the the side of the body of the BCG, use the proper sized roll-pin punch and drift out the pin, tap the body on the side of a table or workbench the weight should slide out of the back of the body (BCG). Reinstall the BCG back in the upper and you are done.

Note: If you are installing this on an AR15 lower (not AR PCC lower) You will not have to do this process with your BCG.
