The Breath That Sustains You Is Jesus

In this lesson, we dive deeper into Job 17 and see how Job’s suffering points not only to Christ on the cross but also to the Jew in the Tribulation. Job begins to realize, “the spirit of God is in my nostrils” — a picture of the Lord’s breath, His Spirit, sustaining life. We explore how Lamentations 3 and 4 connect to the Tribulation, with the Jews hunted in the streets, crying out to God, and recognizing “the breath of our nostrils, the anointed of the LORD” (Lam 4:20). That breath is the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.
