Will The Machines Really Kill Us?

Will the machines really kill us? My wife says Absolutely.

But will it be the machines themselves or something else?

Humans ravage the earth, cut down rainforests, and dig up minerals, leaving the earth in shambles as we leave devastation in our wake.

We then move to a different location to continue our insatiable hunger for resources and our disregard for ecosystems and the longevity of any species that gets in our way.

When you look at it like that, why wouldn't the machines kill us? We're nothing but a virus on the surface of the earth, systematically (and stupidly) killing the host.

I mean, who kills the host? We do.

If I were a machine, I'd probably kill us too. And with the same disregard we have for viruses when we take antibiotics.

Seems plausible and logical.

I guess we'll see...
