Why You’re Assigned to Influence Culture

When the Bible says God gave apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to equip the saints, that doesn’t mean everyone is supposed to serve only inside the church. In fact, the vast majority of believers are called to carry their gifts into their vocation—into media, business, education, or government—because that’s where their true assignment is. We’re told to pray for rulers and those in authority, and those rulers exist at the tops of each cultural mountain—like Elon Musk in media or tech—because influence flows from those gates. Hell only needs control at the top to shape a nation, even if it’s the minority in power. That’s why the church must raise up free-thinking believers who are filled with the Word and the Spirit—because we are the resistance to deception at the gates.
