THE AMAZING PROPERTIES/QUALITIES OF GOD

Psalm 103:8 New King James Version
8 The Lord is merciful and gracious,
Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY FRIENDS!!!
You know guys, as I was reading Nehemiah 9, I was trying to see what one had to do with the other, especially with the word property itself. I was reminded that property doesn't have to do with possessions, but it has to do with as this definition states so very well “a quality or trait belonging to an individual or thing”. I thought about that especially with God, and what I thought about kind of blew my mind.

I think that's why these questions from this morning's devotional, were not only challenging to my heart, but got me to think of the character, qualities, and properties of God. Please read these questions very carefully, and I pray that God will challenge and encourage your heart through them.

What properties of God can you think of?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me not just out of this chapter of Nehemiah, but also through what I learned from this devotional through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share gets you to thinking about the character, qualities, and properties of God. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it will encourage you to not just think about, but to praise God for that dependable property of His. His mercy.

How will you praise him for those?

I encourage you guys, to think of the wonderful properties, character, and qualities of God that maybe you've seen in your life, and don't be afraid to thank God for them. Take time to remember God's love, mercy, grace, protection, provision, compassion, and faithfulness in your own life, and don't be afraid to give Him praise for it. It’s as Darlene Schacht, of the Time Warp Wife, states so very well concerning the repentant Israelites during Nehemiah's time, “God's mercy is greater than their failure.” And guess what? God's mercy is greater than your failures too! When we start remembering what God has done for us in the past, helps us to see clearly not just who He is, but also who we are, and where our hearts need to turn to. So, I pray that in our prayers of confession that we include praise for that dependable property of God-His mercy.
