Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert reviews "Getting Away With Murder" (Horrible Dark Comedy about a troublesome man who finds out his next door neighbor is a nazi war criminal. This was Savoy Pictures only film in 1996 not co-produce with New Line Cinema and for a good reason too. Starring: Dan Aykroyd, Jack Lemmon, Bonnie Hunt and Lily Tomlin.); "James and the Giant Peach" (A Delightful Live-Action/Stop Motion Animation adventure adaptation of Roald Dahl and from director, Henry Selick. Starring: Richard Dreyfuss, Susan Sarandon, Joanna Lumley, Miriam Margolyes and Paul Terry. Saw it in theatres with my family!); "Jane Eyre" (The 1995 Version with William Hurt is terrific!); "Kids in the Hall: Brain Candy" (Geez, Ebert! I think you need to take a pill on having your sense of humor. This is a hilarious comedy from the whole gang of "Kids in the Hall", a popular Canadian sketch comedy that aired on Comedy Central.) and "Ghost In The Shell" (An Visionary Cyberpunk Anime from director, Mamoru Oshii. A cyborg female, Major Mira Killian and her partner tracking down "The Puppet Master". Based on the popular Manga and became a franchise along with the TV Series "Stand Alone Complex" and more.)

Video Pick of the Week: Siskel's pick is "What Happened Was..." (1994) (A romantic film from Tom Noonan ("Manhunter" and "RoboCop 2") who stars, wrote and directed and Karen Sillas. And a recap of Today's program.

Recorded on KATU ABC 2 in Portland, Oregon with Commercials intact.
