Chronic Endocannabinoid Deficiency as the Root Cause of Aging and Death by Natural Causes — A Systems Model Approach as a Means to Reach Longevity Escape Velocity
by Jennifer April Huse ( JAH)

Publication date 2025-08-10
This project presents a systems biology thesis titled "Chronic Endocannabinoid Deficiency as the Root Cause of Aging and Death by Natural Causes — A Systems Model Approach as a Means to Reach Longevity Escape Velocity." It proposes that age-related diseases and death by natural causes are driven by chronic deficiencies in the endocannabinoid system (ECS). The thesis outlines a systems-level model in which ECS deficiency leads to inflammatory signaling dysfunction, neuroendocrine misregulation, organ degradation, and aging. It also explores the therapeutic potential of high-dose cannabinoid saturation to restore ECS balance and both prevent and reverse degenerative conditions.
