Mohr About... fascism in the US

Both sides of the U.S. political spectrum have been consistently warning against the rise of fascism in the country. But can it really happen? And which side is the danger coming from - Democrats or Republicans? I tried to logically dissect this by juxtaposing the base principles of the original fascists in Italy and the current reality in the States.
