I’m Julie Benz, born May 1, 1972, in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. A figure skater until a teen injury, I found my calling in acting. Starting in a local theater, I debuted in Two Evil Eyes. I acted in Sliders, I acted as Darla in Buffy and Angel, I acted as Rita Bennett in Dexter, earning a Satellite Award and I acted in many other roles across many movies and series. I advocate for animals and love fitness. From ice skating to acting, I’ve embraced roles that inspire resilience, strength and heart.
