Did Bill Maher really say he's afraid of Cancel Culture?

In an ironic twist, Bill Maher said on his recent podcast with Drew Barrymore that he fears saying something that will get him cancelled. On his podcast @ClubRandomPodcast he goes into an oddly accurate description of the situation that involves rooftop restaurants. I know, sounds crazy but it really does make sense. The question is - should we feel bad about this? Liberals eating their own seemed inevitable given the current political environment - but hey, I'm just a guy with above average intelligence, a microphone, and a camera. What do I know?
