Early on 10 August, Israel attacked a group of journalists near the main gate of al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, killing Al Jazeera’s 28-year old correspondent Anas Al-Sharif and his colleagues Mohammed Qreiqeh, Ibrahim Zaher, Muhammad Noufal, and Moamen Aliwa.

Israel killed Muhammad al-Khaldi, a journalist who worked for Sahat Media Platform, and Saad Jundiya, a Palestinian civilian who happened to be present, in the same attack.

They were among at least 564 Palestinians murdered by Israel during the ongoing genocide this week. More than 3,100 others were injured.

We are joined by Dyab Abou Jahjah, co-founder and chair of the Hind Rajab Foundation.

This week the Hind Rajab Foundation and the Palestinian Center for Human Rights filed a joint action at the International Criminal Court against Israeli personnel identified as responsible for the murder of Anas al-Sharif and his colleagues.

We talk to Abou Jahjah about how this action is more than symbolic and learn about what happened when two Israeli soldiers were recently arrested in Belgium on suspicion of involvement in war crimes.

This is a segment from The Electronic Intifada's livestream on day 678 of the Gaza genocide. Ali Abunimah, Nora Barrows-Friedman and Jon Elmer were joined by Dyab Abou Jahjah, a Belgian-Lebanese political activist and writer and co-founder of The Hind Rajab Foundation, and Gaza-born Palestinian academic Shahd Abusalama.
