Welcome to Adventure #12!
In this video, we trace the footsteps of the real Butch Cassidy from his boyhood home in Circleville, Utah to the reel Hollywood version in Grafton Ghost Town—filming site of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
Middle Section (Trail Details)
We visited Butch Cassidy’s original childhood cabin in Circleville—a small, weathered home that once held 8 family members.
Followed scenic Utah backroads to Grafton, a perfectly preserved ghost town with a starring role in Hollywood’s Old West.
Crossed the historic Virgin River bridge on the way to Grafton—the same route movie crews once used to bring in props and equipment.
Walked the dirt street where Paul Newman and Katherine Ross filmed the iconic bicycle scene.
Explored the Grafton Cemetery, with graves dating back to 1862 and heartbreaking stories of pioneer life.Notable Things to See:
