Submission to God brings peace and safety

God has given us a free will we can choose to listen to him or not to listen, He said submit your self to God resist the devil he will flee. James tells us the tongue is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison, and no matter who you are you cannot control your tongue and he said who ever controls your tongue controls you. To be totally submitted to God the tongue must be controlled by the Holy spirit and Gods word. James uses the rudder of a boat to explain that your body will go in the direction of your tongue, so your tongue has to be sanctified or set apart for Gods use other wise your whole body will be defiled.
