Monday, I said I didn't know if Trump the Pedo in Chief could legally federalize the police in DC because it's not legally covered by our flag or constitution. After some braindraining digging and dumb luck, I came across the answer: yes, he can. However, the rest of American cities such as Detroit, no. It is protected by a constitution plus the national constitution. I would love to see him try. I don't know if there's enough popcorn and Dr. Pepper for that.
