New Ohio law will create database of violent offenders

Like sex offenders, people convicted of violent crimes will now be compelled to register themselves in a publicly accessible database after they leave prison. The goal is to protect and inform their neighbors, but some re-entry advocates worry it will make the offenders the targets of vigilantes.
