From Hebrew Giant-Slayers to Negro Slaves

When the Israelites entered the promised land, it was full of giants. Deuteronomy 3:11 says, "...only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants;" but Og was NOT the last giant overall -- he was the last of the Rephaim, a group of ancient giants, often associated with the Anakim and other giant clans that inhabited the promised land. Og was also an Amorite "yet destroyed I the Amorite before them (the Israelites), whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I (YAH) destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath." (Amos 2:9) Now, the Anakim, mentioned in Joshua 15:13-14, were also mentioned in Deuteronomy 9:1-2 "Hear, O Israel: You are to pass over Jordan this day, to go in to possess nations greater and mightier than yourself, cities great and fenced up to heaven, a people great and tall, the children of the Anakims, whom you know, and of whom you have heard say, Who can stand before the children of Anak!" But Caleb, a warrior from the tribe of Judah, stood before the children of Anak and slew them; he took possession of the land of Hebron from them, fulfilling the promise given to him by YAH for his unwavering faith in Numbers 14:24 "...My servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and has followed Me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it." Nevertheless, the giants persisted amongst the Israelites through the Canaanites that they did not expel from the promised land during the conquest of Joshua. Goliath, famous for being slain by David (1 Samuel 17:48-51) was a Philistine giant from Gath, as were Ishbibenob, Saph, Lahmi and the unnamed giant with six fingers and six toes. Ishibenob was the giant that almost slew David during a battle in 2 Samuel 21:16-17 but instead was slain by David's nephew, Abishai. In 2 Samuel 21:18-22, we read: "And it came to pass after this, that there was again a battle with the Philistines at Gob: then Sibbechai the Hushathite slew Saph, which was of the sons of the giant. And there was again a battle in Gob with the Philistines, where Elhanan the son of Jaareoregim, a Bethlehemite, slew the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver's beam. And there was yet a battle in Gath, where was a man of great stature, that had on every hand six fingers, and on every foot six toes, four and twenty in number; and he also was born to the giant. And when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea the brother of David slew him. These four were born to the giant in Gath, and fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants." In Ezekiel 19, Ezekiel's lamentation for the princes of Israel, he laments how the men of Israel, once mighty warriors of the Most High YAH, were surrounded by all nations on all sides, captured and held as their captive. These Israelites are the black slave descendants whose ancestors were literally captured by all nations and scattered throughout the world into all nations as slaves during the Arab Slave Trade, Transatlantic Slave Trade, et cetera. But "YAH brought him (Israel) forth out of Egypt; he has as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows." (Numbers 24:8) The reference to the king of Babylon in Ezekiel 19:9 is not merely a reference to the king of ancient Babylon but also a reference to the king of the daughter of Babylon. Zechariah 2:6-7 "Ho, ho, flee from the land of the north, says YAH: for I will gather you (Israel) from the four winds of heaven, says YAH, even to Zion: deliver yourselves, you that dwell with THE DAUGHTER OF BABYLON." After the Second/Last Exodus, when the Israelites/black slave descendants are redeemed, they will rejoice over the king of Babylon as per Isaiah 14:3-7 "...it shall come to pass in the day that YAH shall give you (Israel) rest from your sorrow, and from your fear, and from the hard bondage wherein you were made to serve, that you shall take up this proverb AGAINST THE KING OF BABYLON, and say, How has the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased! YAH has broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of the rulers. He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hinders. The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing."
