When the World Stays Silent, We Set Sail.

The Global Sumud Flotilla is the largest civilian maritime mission ever launched to break Israel’s illegal blockade on Gaza. Coordinated by grassroots organizers, seafarers, doctors, artists, and solidarity activists across 30+ countries, the flotilla is a nonviolent response to the genocide and siege on the Palestinian people.

In August 2025, dozens of boats of all sizes will set sail from ports around the world, converging toward Gaza to open a humanitarian corridor by sea and to directly challenge the inaction of governments and institutions.

The main launch will be from Spain on August 31, followed by additional launches from Tunisia and other countries on September 4. These vessels carry more than aid—they carry a message: the siege must end.

The flotilla is a joint mobilization by the Global March to Gaza, Sumud Convoy, and Freedom Flotilla Coalition. It builds on decades of Palestinian resistance and international solidarity, aiming to shift the global narrative and confront complicity.
