Hey everyone, it’s Leaflit! In today’s video, I’m reacting to news of arson attacks by Jewish settlers on the fully-Christian Palestinian village of Taibeh. Ancient churches from the 5th century were set ablaze, cemeteries torched, olive groves burned, and farmland vandalized—violent acts that targeted the town’s beloved Christian community.

I stand in solidarity with the victims. These attacks aren’t surprises—they’re escalating: homes destroyed, cars burned, farmland taken over by livestock grazing, and political murals like “no future for you here” chillingly threatening. Yet, media coverage remains inconsistent when violence targets Christians.

That ends today. I’m condemning the silence, demanding equal attention to these atrocities, and urging our viewers to support the brave community in Taibeh. Let’s shed light where justice is blind.

On July 7, Jewish settlers set multiple fires at Taibeh’s historic Church of St. George, its ancient cemetery, and nearby farmland. 

Taibeh—also known as biblical Ephraim—is the only entirely Christian town in the West Bank, with roots tracing back to the 5th century. 

This attack follows months of settler harassment: fields seized by livestock, farmland burned, cars torched, and threatening graffiti such as “no future for you here.” 

Church leaders and groups like CMEP and the Lutheran World Federation are urging international intervention.

Solidarity with a targeted minority – Taibeh's Christians are suffering in silence, and we must amplify their voices.

Media double standard – Attacks on Christianity often receive scant attention compared to other religious violence. That needs to change.

Empowering viewers – Calling for global awareness, investigation, and solidarity can galvanize real-world pressure.

Faith, history, and justice – Taibeh holds deep historical and spiritual significance—if Christian heritage disappears quietly, the world is complicit in its erasure.
