My rendition of the Star Spangled Banner

"The Star-Spangled Banner," written by Francis Scott Key, is the national anthem of the United States. It was inspired by the sight of the American flag flying over Fort McHenry after a British bombardment during the War of 1812. Key initially titled it "Defence of Fort M'Henry" and the poem was later set to the tune of a popular English song, eventually becoming known as "The Star-Spangled Banner"
