Rungne's Magdust vs Moon Climbing's Moondust: An Honest Head to Head Chalk Review

Hey y'all! Time for another climbing session and part two of the Magdust Chalk Review. This time I pit Magdust against my current favorite chalk...Moondust. Apparently, I prefer my chalk to have 'dust' in the name. Go figure.

For the head to head chalk battle, I attempted the same boulder problem with each chalk. I even washed my hands in between some of the attempts to prevent any confounding variables. Who will win? Which chalk is better?

I have also included a little bit about stress and how it can impact training. Unfortunately, we (me and my family) have been through some difficult times and this has an impact on all of us. I mean, who hasn't been through some difficulty and struggle!?!

Sometimes the stress from this limits what I can do or feel like doing. In this case, I didn't climb for a week or two. We often think if we miss a session or two, that our results will suffer and there will be no progress. This isn't always the case. It's not a great idea to miss sessions consistently, but if it is a rare occurrence and you are listening to what your body is telling you....well, then it seems to be helpful. In this specific instance, I actually made a little bit of progress on this boulder problem despite the apparent "lack" of climbing. So, the moral of the story is to listen to your body and what it is telling you.
