Michael Fish's NBC26 New Year's Day weather forecast
New Year's Day is going to be chilly with highs in the low-20s. We'll see some breaks of sun with a few flurries possible. We'll start out blustery, but the winds will die down this afternoon. We'll clear out the skies tonight, and with the light winds, it will get kind of chilly. Lows will bottom out in the single digits with the fresh snowpack. Wednesday will be just about "average" for this time of year. We'll have partly to mostly cloudy skies with highs in the mid-20s. Thursday also stays dry with highs in the upper-20s. Get ready for another warm-up starting Friday going right through the weekend. Highs each day will be in the upper-30s to near 40 with plenty of sunshine. The next chance of precipitation will be either next Monday or Tuesday.
