I’m excited to welcome Deborah Parman, a debut author whose passion for storytelling beautifully weaves together themes of human connection and spiritual insight.

Born and raised in western Colorado, Deborah developed a love for reading and writing early in life. She went on to spend 27 years as an Assistant Professor of Business Administration at Colorado Mesa University before retiring in 2020. Drawing from her years of working with people, she creates compelling narratives that touch the heart and inspire the soul.

Her debut book, Oh, Now I Get It!, invites readers into stories that offer both entertainment and spiritual encouragement. Deborah now lives in Nebraska with her husband, Jim, and their beloved (and spoiled) Maine Coon cat. When she’s not writing, she enjoys traveling, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, and playing golf.

In our conversation, we’ll talk about her journey from professor to author, the inspiration behind her book, the spiritual truths woven through her stories, and her encouragement for anyone who feels called to write—no matter what season of life they’re in.
