6.9 IDI Rear Main Seal adventure

In this video we're back in the garage and I want to start on the Turbo bracket mounts, however I need to 1st put in the rear main seal of the 6.9 IDI. I should have done the main seal a long time ago when we 1st started rebuilding the engine but where I had it on the engine stand it prevented me from getting to it. So now that I have it off the engine stand we're going to go ahead and replace that main seal before we move on. I bought a felpro seal and I took out the old one and I put the felpro seal in. I did not like how it turned out. After a little bit of research and talking to my man, Justin from R and D performance, I decided to go ahead and get a different seal and replace it again. I felt more comfortable with how it turned out this time. In the beginning I was trying not to pull off the oil Pan, but by the end of the video I sucked it up and I pulled that pan off. Small price to pay for getting it done right.
