In an exclusive interview with Jim Hoft for Gateway Pundit, J.D. Vance spoke with great admiration and respect toward those he calls the “vindicated heroes,” meaning the people who were unjustly prosecuted in the political aftermath of the January 6, 2021 Capitol attack. According to Vance, the administration of President Donald Trump has made significant progress in punishing those involved in what he calls a “fraudulent legal affair,” referring to the case of the Russia collusion fraud, which he believes was an unfounded conspiracy against Trump and his allies.

Vance highlights that many people involved in those legal processes suffered severe injustices, even more than he did, because of their political convictions, beliefs, and principles. He expresses deep recognition for their bravery and resilience under such adverse circumstances, considering them examples of political courage. For that reason, he hopes the atmosphere at events like the one in Las Vegas, where supporters and figures of the conservative movement gather, will be celebratory due to these judicial and political achievements, which he views as a form of redemption for those individuals.

He specifically mentions emblematic figures like Rudy Giuliani, General Michael Flynn, and Roger Stone. Vance emphasizes that Roger Stone, despite being legally persecuted, is a brilliant strategist and political analyst, highlighting his intelligence and contribution to the conservative movement. To all of them and others who have been less visible or known, Vance deeply thanks them for their sacrifice and for making it possible for leaders like him to now hold public office.

Finally, Vance solemnly commits to his base and these “vindicated heroes,” promising to do the best job possible during his term to honor their sacrifices and contribute to the political and cultural goals of the conservative movement. His speech reflects a strong sense of unity, resilience, and hope within the political wing he represents, and an invitation to keep fighting together to consolidate their victories and move forward into the future.
