Understanding the Times: The Issachar Anointing and The Alaska Summit

Today I speak directly to you about what I believe God is doing in this hour: geopolitical shifts, exposures of corruption, and a spiritual assignment for each of us. I want to walk you through the signs I'm seeing, the biblical parallels that give us context, and practical, spiritual steps so you and I can press into the Lord with clarity, courage, and action.

Why this moment matters

Everything around us is changing rapidly. Over a single weekend we saw major, world-altering developments: arrests of large child-trafficking networks, explosive documents revealing plots against leaders, and the announcement that President Trump and President Putin will meet on American soil in Alaska. These are not isolated headlines — they are pieces of a single, unfolding picture. The Lord is asking His people to wake up, to discern, and to act.

I want to be clear: God is doing a new thing. "Can't you see I'm doing a new thing?" He asks. It won't look like the old ways, and it won't make sense if we keep trying to interpret it with yesterday's frames. The calling for us now is to press into Him moment by moment so He can give us the instructions we need for what is happening today.

The Alaska meeting: symbolism and strategy
Hear me when I say this: the place where negotiations happen says something about power. The fact that leaders traveled to Donald Trump's personal resort, and that President Putin will come to Alaska — ground that formerly belonged to Russia — is heavy with meaning. It signals a potential rebalancing of influence. This is not merely a PR photo-op. It could be a diplomatic move with deep geopolitical consequence.

Why Alaska? Until 1867 Alaska was Russian territory. The geography between Russia and the United States — separated only by the Bering Strait — has always been strategic, especially now with the Arctic's trade routes and resources coming into global focus. To invite Putin onto U.S. soil and to meet in a place with that history is to say, symbolically, that reconciliation and compromise may be possible without concession of sovereignty.

On the practical level, what might be on the table is a land-swap idea, and the exclusion of Ukraine from NATO — proposals that were previously flatly rejected. Remember the Minsk agreements and the promises that were broken. All of that context matters. I believe we are watching a shift away from certain globalist, neocon-led plays and toward a different alignment — which will cause pushback. That means we must pray and intercede to protect any genuine chance for peace.

What to watch for
Delays or sabotage around the meeting — tariffs postponed, last-minute moves, or public attacks from deep-state actors.
Exposures and arrests — the recent arrests of traffickers and the release of coup-related documents are signs the base beneath the old power structure is being eroded.
Defections — whistleblowers and insiders changing camps, revealing truth, and joining new movements of accountability.
Scripture and the Sons of Issachar: the spiritual key
Let me bring you back to a vital biblical pattern. In 1 Chronicles 12, men from all tribes came to David. Some were mighty warriors; some were few in number yet crucial in wisdom. From the tribe of Issachar, two hundred leaders "understood the signs of the times and knew what Israel should do." That is our calling. We are not just observers — we are participants who discern and act.

We need the Issachar anointing — an ability to read the times, to receive timely wisdom from God, and to act in concord with His kingdom purposes. This is not elitism; it is responsibility. The Lord is raising those who will pray with insight and then move with authority.

Five characteristics of the Issachar anointing (and how to cultivate them)
Let me lay these out plainly so you can test yourself and begin to grow in them.

They understand the times.
Issachar people have discernment and knowledge. They are not driven by panic or media narratives. They know how to read spiritual, political, and cultural indicators and ask, "What is God saying in this moment?" Cultivate this by daily seeking the Lord and asking for insight.

They seek wisdom through the Word.
This is foundational. The sons of Issachar knew the Torah. They did not substitute other voices for Scripture. Read the Bible. Go to the Author. Every supplemental book and prophetic word should be measured against Scripture first.

They are intercessors and watchmen.
Issachar people pray for families, neighborhoods, nations. They stand in the breach, repenting and petitioning in the courts of heaven. If you want to carry this anointing, be found on your knees consistently, not reacting but standing watch.

They are alert — spiritually awake.
Issachar does not run and hide. They are not seduced by Delilah's lullabies — the half-truths and flattery that bring compromise. Keep your spiritual blinders on; stay focused on Jesus. Do not be distracted by every new narrative. The Lord will keep you from falling into seduction when you are fixated on Him.

They act.
Understanding without action is useless. Issachar people take the wisdom they receive and they deploy it. They do not sit complacent; they press forward in prayer, in declaration, and in whatever Spirit-directed steps are required.

Practical steps for pressing in (minute-by-minute dependence)
God is giving instructions in this hour that are often moment-by-moment. The world is moving too fast for twenty-four hour prophecies to be useful. Here's what I want you to do:

Begin each day with a short, simple prayer: "Father, what is Your best course of action today? How can I partner with You?"
Read Scripture daily — not as research but as communion. The Word is the place where God speaks and where the manna comes from.
Develop a posture of immediate obedience. When the Lord gives a prompting, act. Small obediences form spiritual muscle for larger assignments.
Be an intercessor. Declare protection over leaders and over any diplomatic processes that could bring peace. Bind schemes of darkness and declare God's plans.
Reject fear. Do not sign a new contract with the devil by speaking agreements with worry or anxiety. If God is for you, who can stand against you? Stand on His promises.
What we must pray and declare now
We are called not only to watch but to decree. When I pray, I bind those plans that would seek to derail what God is doing, and I declare the victory of righteousness and peace. This includes:

Praying for protection and wisdom over President Trump, President Putin, and their advisers.
Calling down exposure on any "wolves in sheep's clothing" who would sabotage genuine peace efforts.
Asking God to remove nefarious influences — deep-state manipulators, neocons who profit from conflict, and the altars that have been fueled by evil.
Releasing an Issachar mantle over those in our fellowship so they can discern, intercede, and act effectively.
It is my conviction that the recent arrests, the whistleblowers, and the political repositioning are not random. They are the shifting base beneath a mountain; the peak might be thin, but the foundations are crumbling. We must connect the dots spiritually and pray accordingly.

Biblical example: defections to David
Remember David's story. Tribe after tribe came to him. Some were mighty warriors; some were few but strategically vital. The men who joined David knew what the moment required and acted. They became officers in his army. In the same way, we are seeing defections from corrupt camps — whistleblowers, leaders, and everyday people waking up and joining a new movement toward justice and restoration.

When corrupted systems lose their base — whether through exposure, legal action, or spiritual weakening — God's people are called to move in and help secure a righteous outcome. That is our role as an ekklesia: to be present, to pray, and to stand in the gap.

Final exhortation: be an Issachar in your sphere
I want to leave you with a simple, urgent charge. You do not need to be a geopolitical analyst to play your part. God asks for faithfulness where He has placed you. The Issachar anointing begins with a posture: daily seeking, Scripture, watchfulness, intercession, and prompt obedience.

If you want this anointing, reach out to the Lord and receive it. Open your mouth and decree. Stop running and hiding. Put on the blinders and run your race. The gifts He has for you are real. He will give you timely instruction so you can act in alignment with His kingdom purposes. The world order may be shifting — praise God — and He is calling His remnant to be active participants in that shift.

Closing prayer and declaration
We bind every plot, every scheme, every plan that would derail peace. We declare the exposure of darkness, the protection of leaders who seek peace, and the rise of righteous authority on the earth. Father, pour out wisdom on those who lead, anoint those who stand in the gap, and let Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
